John Stokes

An alternative country singer song writer, his music is characterised by deep, rich acoustic sounds.
John incorporates traditional earthy instruments such as the didgeridoo, bodhran and clapping sticks, lending an authentic connection to the Australian country. These elements combined, weave narratives that resonate deeply with his audience.

Piper Allen
January 17th
Saturday: 4.30-7.30pm
Local singer/songwriter whose music blends dreamy folky sounds with jazzy neo soul. She loves songs that make you feel deeply and came to music through its incredible healing, smoothening effects on the mind and heart. Influenced by her familial connection to South America, she loves Brazilian music, particularly the soft tones of bossa nova.

Jakob Poyner
February 7th
Saturday: 4.30-7.3-pm
Jakob is a young up-and-coming singer/songwriter and guitarist based on the NSW South Coast. Over the past few years Jakob has built a large local following, and has opened for the likes of Caravana Sun, Ash Grunwald and Richard Clapton. Jakob performs a range of covers, with his voice being described as “soulful”, “earthy” and “having a rich timbre”.

Richard Lawson

Australian music journeyman Richard Lawson has made a stop at every creative station. His transcendence through the gambit of popular genres is to be acknowledged and he is an unassuming Australian music legend. All the way from 70’s Rock/Punk with the Lime Spiders through to Folk, across to Electronica then back around to Ambient/Classical, Richard’s made his mark.
